Australia’s KeepCup expand to London

KeepCup

Abigail Forsyth and Jamie Forsyth - founders of the ethical ‘KeepCup’ – are the latest members to join THECUBE.

The pair have been working in Melbourne’s takeaway food industry for the last decade. In that time, they have both witnessed, and unfortunately contributed to, the rise and rise of the disposable paper cup.

As owners of a chain of coffee and catering outlets in Melbourne’s CBD, they were shocked to witness this waste first hand – and determined to do something about it. Concerned by our complicity in the corruption of the environment and unsatisfied with the reusable alternatives on offer, the couple designed the KeepCup.

The KeepCup is a sustainable, reusable coffee cup designed to reduce the massive waste problems associated with disposable coffee cups.

Abigail and Jamie moved to London in August, joining THECUBE on Commercial Street in East London, and are already making an impact within the Green community. Keep an eye out for them at the different markets and coffee shops in and around East London!
