Coworking in London at THECUBE

workspace2

At THECUBE we dislike cubicles and anything that could possibly remind us of stereotypical corporate office aesthetic. Work environments should conduce productivity, be relaxing, and enjoyable. The whole space is open plan, which means that there are no private space or separate office space.

This is a new way of working, called coworking. At THECUBE we focus on helping ideas and creative entrepreneurs grow. We are not industry specific as we feel that the strength in our community is its diversity. We are at the forefront of co-working in London.

To view our facilities, just get in touch and book an appointment.

CUBER: Strong Linx

A large number of young people in London are below the poverty line, and that coupled with the fact that many do not travel further than their borough, makes for a very closed and limited life experience.

This knowledge was Strong Linx original motivation to provide international travel opportunities to young people in London, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds and ethnic minorities, who are the least likely to travel abroad.

The new understanding of cultures and finding common ground is also beneficial to the individual and their community when they return home in numerous ways. It will encourage the belief of other similar young people that they, too, can fulfill their dreams and aim higher!

Strong Linx joined THECUBE to have a professional space to have meetings and grow their company.

Coworking VS. Office Space

workspace3

Coworking is a new type of office space, which started in the late 90’s in Silicon Valley. Nearly 15 years later it has evolved to cater to people who are looking for the professional environment of an office, but the character of a members club.

THECUBE is located in Spitalfields making it easily accessible from both quirky Shoreditch and the City. Our focus is on helping creative ideas grow by providing an aesthetically clean office space, business resources, and a community of people who are creative and entrepreneurial.

There is always someone at hand to help with anything from PR, branding, to website development, and finance. Imagine the support that you would get from being part of a big organisation, but with the independence of having your own enterprise.

For more pictures follow the link and to view the space please call Araceli on 02073779279.

CUBEBLOG: Meeting Spaces

Our London meeting spaces are in the heart of Spitalfields making them an ideal location. We are a two minute walk from colourful Shoreditch and 5 min from the City. Non members are welcome to use our meeting spaces to get away from the office or as an alternative to sitting at your local coffee shop.

Our meeting spaces are flexible and can be used for small meetings, boardroom meetings, or seminars. They are also incredibly affordable starting at £10 per hour for the room, if you would like to check availability please call THECUBE 0207 3779279.

Jack joined  THECUBE in February 2010.

CUBER: Jordanna May Gargass

Earlier on in February we received our second print-related member, Jordanna May Gargass.

Our first was from student publication The Gateway.

Jordanna has a background in parliamentary journalism. Her joining us at THECUBE, however, marks the beginning of her new enterprise. This will be a publication focused on politics, geared towards young people. She modestly dismissed it as “not very exciting” when I showed her around, but it isn’t that way at all. Political ideals are most exciting when they’re discussed, written about, and debated by younger people. The crusty, noxious air of the antiquated House of Lords, and Commons, is what’s “not very exciting” in reality.

We look forward to helping Jordanna with her new project, and we’re excited to see where it’s all going to go from here.

CUBESPACE: Work Area

THECUBE is a highly aesthetic coworkign based in East London. The space is open plan with high ceilings and large windows with a high design aesthetic. We are more than just office space or hot desking as THECUBE offers our members the ability to form a community of contacts, access business resources, and participate in exciting events.
We are steadily building our name within the East London community and want to continue to be recognised as a place that supports the area’s creative ideas and enterprises.
